I am so sad, cried out in fact, to report that Quanah crossed over at 10:40 this evening. 5/28. His Native American ceremony will commence tomorrow morning beginning at 9 am, as we lay his earthly body down in the East gate, tobacco in his mouth. Memorial Day Weekend Is NOT

The Saga of Quanah
I wish I could tell you Quanah is getting better, but alas, we actually see a severe weakening in his body, as we feed him as many times a day as he wants. He's just wasting away before our eyes. Tuesday we have mobile Vet Dr. Porter coming out from Gainesville to suggest and hopefully provide some further testing on why this wasting is happening. But we can't pay for all these tests without donations from people just like you. We don't have any corporate sponsors, or grants

Therapy Horse Quanah Is Sick! We've been reported for
Quanah has been the most delightful of horses for HorseSisters. He has carefully taught children in our therapeutic and 4-H worlds some fantastic life lessons. He's kind, hard working, and loves to be in the arena. He's really quite fancy and he seems to know he is beautiful. He's had seniors regain their riding skills and blossomed from traumas and operations. But something is dreadfully wrong. Certain horses we have taken in have always been what we in the horse world call
